Refund Policy

Purchases are final once completed, except where mandatory consumer-protection law requires otherwise (see section 4). This reflects the nature of the Service: each run consumes AI generation that is performed for you immediately.

Credits are purchased in packs and do not expire. A credit that has been consumed (used to start a run) is non-refundable. Credits are not redeemable for cash.

The preview run is a prepaid, limited-scope offer. Once the preview run has started, it is non-refundable.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a digital purchase. Because the Service is delivered immediately, by starting a run you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose this right of withdrawal for that purchase. If you have purchased credits but have not yet started any run from that purchase, you may withdraw within 14 days for a refund of those unused credits.

Email billing@bioptimism.com with your account details and the purchase in question, and we’ll review in line with this policy and applicable law.

If credits granted from a payment are later refunded or charged back, the corresponding credits are reversed from your balance.
